Diary:
Yesterday, I had already packed my luggage. Today the sky was clear, the weather warm and sunny. That's how a holiday should start. The first day brought me to Manfred's home in Speyer (GPS waypoint HANDI), where I met him and Uwe. Torsten would join us later. For the first 30km (20mi) I used the Autobahn, just to leave the München area fast. Then I switched to little country roads, because they are more fun and there's less traffic. Navigation was no problem, because I had programmed my GPS device with the prepared route. The highlight of today's trip was the Kochertal between Aalen and Gaildorf with lots of nice curves. In the afternoon I arrived in Speyer.
